The very limited Su-7BMK made up much of the EAF’s strike capacity, fighting beside remaining units of MiG-17Fs. When seeking to plus up this arm of the air force, the Soviets delivered additional Su-7BMKs in early 1973, among them aircraft 7252 armed with UB-16-57 rocket pods.
