The three Caudron Ds with 40hp Anzani engines were primarily intended for training, but all Caudrons were soon sent out to different locations and used in operations. These deployments were temporary, however, and the aircraft always returned to the Nanyuan aviation school. (Artwork by Jean-Pierre Baraton)
