As soon as the judge ruling the bankruptcy of Transcontinental SA permitted them, Luzzi and friends assumed control over the Curtiss C-46A-41-CU with registration LV-FTR. By this time, the aircraft was already converted into the civilian CW-20T airliner, but Luzzi’s team then re-built it into a pure freighter using the cargo doors, landing gear, fin and rudder from the C-46 with registration CX-AYI that crashed in San Luis. Once ready to pay for proceeds and wearing the full livery of the newly-established Aerotransportes Entre Rios, it looked like the image shown. (Artwork by Luca Canossa)
