These are reconstructions of two of the North American T-6C/D Texan/Harvards (all upgraded to T-6G-standard) of the RHAF unit destined for deployment to Cyprus. Both are based on takes from the Greek movie Rendezvous in the Skies, filmed in 1965 and widely considered as the sole available reference for the appearance of two aircraft: one with the probable serial C11 (main artwork) and C13 (insert). The T-6Gs in question are known to have worn serials in the range C1 to C13 and the RHAF national insignia but should have received the Cypriot flag either on the fin or on the rear fuselage. All were armed with attachment for five 2.75in/70mm unguided rockets under each wing but received no gun pods. Their original bare metal overall livery was crudely over-sprayed with dark sand or tan and dark green, perhaps also some brown; undersides seem to have been left unpainted. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
