Artist’s impression of how the Vickers VIM training aircraft probably looked. These were modified Royal Aircraft Factory FE 2ds with 360hp Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engines intended for use as advanced trainers. Thirty-five were part of the final Vickers contract. (Artwork by Jean-Pierre Baraton)
