Libya - Traditionally on good terms with Moscow, Libya was an early recipient of the ‘Hind-A (illustrated). Today, the air force flies around 21 Mi-24s, consisting of the Mi-24D ‘Hind-D' and Mi-24P ‘Hind-E’. The first of Libya's ‘Hinds’ was delivered in 1978.
