About a dozen different Ilyushin Il-76 transport aircraft were used for moving Wagner operatives and arms around Africa, and especially to Libya, Mali and Sudan. One of the most interesting amongst them was the example with civilian registrations TL-KMZ and/or TL-KPA (both of which were seen at the same time in a video released by Prigozhin). This was frequently sighted at Bangui International between October and November 2021, in Benghazi in Libya and at Hmeimim AB in November and December 2022. Gauging from available videos and verbal reports, the jet was painted in white overall (except for the engine pylons, which are in matt black), had a light grey nose cone, and had no insignia except for the type designation under the cockpit and the small black registration on the rear fuselage.
