F-15E Strike Eagle - The only US Air Force Eagles based permanently outside of the United States are assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath in England. Its squadrons comprise one of F-15C/Ds and two of F-15Es. An example of the latter is serial 98-0133, operated by the 492nd Fighter Squadron ‘Bolars’, which apply a blue tail flash to their jets.
