The sole Sri Lankan MiG-15UTI was painted in a similar fashion to the MiG-17s, and received the same kind of red insignia during the 1970s. Notable is that this was an aircraft from earlier production batches, still equipped with slipper-type drop tanks. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
