Two Vougth O2-UA Corsairs of the Federal air force were equipped with floats for operations along the coastal sector (covered in Volume 1). Notable on this example is the blue band, denoting it as the aircraft flown by the section leader, and the darker frontal half visible on several photographs: this might have been the same sky blue as on several Mexican operated Azcárates of the time. Powered by a 337Kw engine, and weighing 2,161kg when fully loaded, the Corsair had a maximum speed of 260km/h, and a manoeuvre ratio of 0.21. It could reach the ceiling of 5,670m, and a range of 1,094km. Its armament consisted of two 7.62mm machine guns (one firing fore, the other to the aft), and up to two 226.5kg bombs.
