This OA-37B was delivered to the FAS in 1989, as an attrition replacement. Its construction number was 43460 and the US Air Force serial number 73-1094. Indeed, the aircraft spent some time at the AMARC storage facility (AS AB0004) before it was overhauled, repainted in European One wraparound camouflage and sent to El Salvador. It is illustrated in weapons configuration used for nocturnal operations as of 1991, including (from inboard stations outwards) an ALQ-123 countermeasures pod (useful against SA-7 and SA-14 MANPADs), Mk.82 bomb, and Mk.24 pod for deployment of illumination flares.
