The A-37B Dragón that received the FAS serial number 427 (shown here as of 1990, already re-painted in dark grey overall), was delivered in February 1985: its construction number was 43397 and the former US Air Force serial was 71-0862. As with all jets of this type, it was assigned to the Grupo Caza y Bombardeo and is shown here equipped with (from inboard pylons outwards) two drop tanks with capacity of 100 US gallons, a SUU-11A mini gun pod, and a LAU-59 pod for four unguided rockets.
