Six North American T- 6A Texan swere smuggled from the USA to Israel in November 1948 . All were painted in dark brown (probably BS381C/450) and dark green (BS381C/641A) on upper surfaces, and medium sea grey (BS381C/641) on undersurfaces. They were fitted with eight underwing bomb racks for bombs calibre 25kg (50lbs) and a pair of machine guns calibre 7.62mm.
