The big fleet of 95 An-32 Sutlejs acquired by the IAF in the mid-1980s and operated by Nos. 12, 33, 43, 48, and 49 Squadrons (and the Paratroop Training School) wore essentially the same livery as Il-76s. Many aircraft involved in deploying the IPKF to Sri Lanka still lacked their service titles, but these became common for all the Sutlejs by 1990.
