The FAéA’s Meteors retained a natural-metal fnish during the revolution, the rebels applying
hand-painted symbols including the letter “V" with a cross above it, denoting “Cristo vence"
— “Christ wins" — symbolising their support for the Catholic church, which opposed Perón.
