During the Polish campaign, 3. Leichte-Division was the only unit equipped with the Czech-built PzKpfw 38(t). In addition to two Panzerbefehlswagen 38(t) command tanks fitted with antennas and extra radio equipment, 55 standard PzKpfw 38(t) battle tanks identical in appearance to this profile were delivered to 3.
