2P25 TEL/SA-6 “GAINFUL” - Designated the 2K12 Kub by the Soviet Union, the formidable SA-6 “Gainful” was supplied to Iraq from the 1970s. Paired with a 2P25 TEL, the weapon was highly
mobile and widely dispersed in the defense of major IrAF airfields and strategic targets in Baghdad. Despite notable successes during the long-running war with Iran, Iraqi SA-6s almost certainly achieved only a single victory during Desert Storm.
