AGM-88B HARM - The Raytheon/Texas Instruments AGM-88 HARM was the key Coalition weapon in the fight to degrade Iraq’s comprehensive IADS during Desert Storm. A large number of AGM-88B/Cs were expended during the campaign, with carrier-based Hornet units firing 75 on the first night of the war alone. USAF, US Navy and US Marine Corps fast jet types expended some 2,000 HARM, with more than 200 being fired by the first wave of aircraft sent to target Baghdad’s IADS on January 17.
