In addition to Ural 4320 trucks, and the related Shchuka and Chekan MRAPs, in the CAR the Wagner Group also deployed numerous of so called ‘technicals’: light trucks like this UNIMOG, armed with a pintle-mounted 14.5mm Dushka heavy machine gun. The majority of such vehicles had only makeshift camoufl age (if at all), but this example and several Toyota SUVs belonging to one of Wagner’s assault groups have a more elaborate camoufl age pattern consisting of yellow sand overall, atop of which a disruptive camoufl age pattern in thin stripes in black or dark olive green was applied.
