The ADDF acquired a total of 20 Saracen armoured personnel carriers, which had a crew of two and could carry up to nine troops. Their armament varied but typically included a medium machine gun in the turret, and a light machine gun. They received a two tone camouflage pattern – like some of the ADDF’s Saladin armoured cars.
