A-10C Thunderbolt II - Representative of the ‘Warthogs’ currently in service with the US Air Force is serial number 79-0086, upgraded to A-10C standard and operated by the 104th Fighter Squadron, part of the Maryland Air National Guard. The unit is stationed at Warfield Air National Guard Base and was the longest-deployed Air National Guard fighter squadron at Bagram during the Afghanistan conflict.
