F-14A Tomcat - The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) is today the sole operator of the F-14, with three squadrons still equipped with the survivors from a total of 79 aircraft originally delivered. Operating units are the 81st Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS), 82nd TFS, and the 83rd TFS, all based at Esfahan, in central Iran.
