Later during the war with Iran, surviving Mi-8Ts of the IrAAC were overhauled and received a new, standardised camouflage pattern shown here, consisting of sand, dark brown, and dark green on upper surfaces and sides, and light admiralty grey (BS381C/697 or FS35622) on undersides. Their serials were reapplied in European digits, in black, on the boom. Although primarily used for transport and liaison, Iraqi Mi-8Ts were often armed, usually with two or four UB-16-57 or UB- 32-57 (shown here) pods for 68mm unguided rockets. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
