This Piper PA-23 Aztec of the Techair was based at Charles Prince Airport, and operated by John and Sylvia Plant. John was a PRP and often rented the company’s aircraft to other PRAW pilots. Their proximity to the capital and link to PRAW meant that Techair was often the first to be approached to assist the B.S.A.P.. The aircraft was fitted with non-fuel-injected engines with an output of 250 horse power. Pilots that flew it often carried automatic weapons to guard it while landing on remote strips.
