The principal ground vehicle of 2PARA during Operation Sheepskin was the Short Wheel Base version of the Series II Land Rover. Powered by the 72hp (54kW) 2.25-litre petrol engine, the lightweight paratrooper version usually lacked a cab. Painted in dark green overall, none of the examples deployed in Anguilla are known to have had any kind of armament. (Artwork by David Bocquelet)
