Type 63 SPAAG - Combining the chassis of a T-34/Type 58 medium tank and an open turret with a pair of 37mm (1.5in) anti-aircraft guns, this ‘lash-up’ was considered mediocre at best. The Type 63 was supplied by China to the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) during the Vietnam War. It remained in service with the post-war People’s Army of Vietnam, as well as the PLA, with the last examples being retired in 1990.
