Yet another group of aircraft operated by the MAS during the De la Huerta Rebellion were constructed by the aviation workshops to the British Avro 504K/J design. These trainers were acquired in 1921–1922 and designated the TNCA Anahuac, with the Mexican version having simplified landing gear. About 47 Mexican machines were built. These aircraft were not only used as trainers, but also for reconnaissance and as bombers. Some of the Avro Anahuacs were equipped with bomb rack boxes that could carry two bombs each and were used in operations against the Yaqui rebels. (Artwork by Peter Penev)
