BAC Jet Provosts, 12 of which were acquired in 1958-1959 period, were the first jetsand the first fighter aircraft of the RCyAF. This example is illustrated as on delivery, painted in ‘high speed silver’ finish overall. Roundels were applied in six positions (i.e. on top and bottom surfaces of both wings, and on the rear fuselage), together with serial numbers, which were always in black. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
