One American aircraft that became indirectly involved in the Cantu Crisis, and was never involved in combat operations, was this Martin Model TT No.50 of the US Army Signal Corps stationed at what was then Rockwell Field (present-day NAS North Island), Coronado, California. A photo taken back in 1917 was used by the local American press to illustrate a rebel aircraft. (Artwork by Peter Penev)
