M110A2
field_t_remark

The M110A2 203mm self-propelled howitzer was the heaviest artillery piece in use by 1 (BR) Corps in this era. The chassis was common with the 175mm M107, also used by the British Army, and the weapons were interchangeable. Both weapons were primarily intended for the counter-battery role, though the M110A2 was also earmarked for use as nuclear artillery, with ammunition held under the ‘dual-control’ system mentioned above.
