The CVR(T) Scorpion was the first in a family of light armoured vehicles that was to see widespread service throughout the British Army. The Scorpion was armed with the L23 76mm gun, which fired a useful range of ammunition types including HESH, cannister and white phosphorus. Like many vehicles of all armies, this example carries additional stowage bins added to the original design. This example wears the standard British colour scheme of the 1970s onwards of NATO Green and NATO Black. The latter colour was not applied to a standard pattern, instructions only stated that approximately 1/3rd of the vehicle was to be so covered. (Artwork by David Bocquelet)
