The A-6E modex AB510 – BuAerNo 152948 – is one of the few Intruders positively identified as operated by the VA-34 ‘Blue Blasters’ squadron during Operation Prairie Fire in March 1986. It was painted in the lighter version of the tactical camouflage pattern, consisting of gray FS36231 on top surfaces and sides and FS36320 on undersurfaces, and is shown armed with one AGM-84A Harpoon installed (as usual) on the left inboard underwing pylon.
