This is a reconstruction of an Avia B-33 piston-engined ground attack aircraft – the licence version of the Soviet-designed Ilyushin Il-10 – as delivered to the Imamate of Yemen (North Yemen) in 1957. Taken from surplus stocks of the Czechoslovak Air Force, the aircraft retained their livery in 5450 Smalt Avion 2036 (khaki green) colour on top surfaces and sides, while undersides were painted in Avion 2036.65 (light blue). As far is known, no national markings or other insignia were ever applied. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
