Compensating for its poor fleet, the Israel Navy fostered a small team of commandos. Flotilla 13 had small two-man submersibles they called Pigs (shown separately below), derived from an Italian design, for stealthy approaches to a target. These often carryied two additional divers and limpet mines. A diver is shown, armed with an Uzi submachine gun, ammo pouches, and a knife strapped to his right leg. The divers could also use two tanks and a full wetsuit. (Artwork by and Anderson Subtil)
