Registration VP-YJX was carried by the Auster A.O.P. Mk 5 construction number 2051, built in 1944. The aircraft served with the British Army as TW507, until de-militarised, in November 1949. In September 1952, it was transferred to Rhodesia and, in 1971, it was handed to PRO Peter Bell, who used it for PRAW work, as an element of the Mazoe Flight. (Artwork by Leon Manoucherians)
