By the time of the attack on Cassinga, the C.160Zs of No. 28 Squadron SAAF had received a wrap-around camouage pattern consisting of matt Kalahari Sand (BS381C/360) and Olive Drab (BS381C/298). National markings, maintenance and warning stencils were either entirely removed, or toned down, and only small black serials (331 in this case) applied on the rear fuselage. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
