The Tp 24 (one of two operated by Flygvapnet)
became F 2-90 in Swedish service and was
withdrawn from service on August 24, 1951, to
be scrapped the following year
The Tp 24 flew some 69hr
during its fnal year of service, and
in its last few months of air-sea rescue
operations was fnished in a baremetal scheme. The lack of spare parts
dictated the end of the aircraft’s career
