The F-94 saw extensive service with the Air Defense Command of the US Air Force, where between 1950 and 1958 it served with a total of 26 squadrons. Three squadrons also served in the Far East Air Force, the Alaskan Air Command and the Northeast Air Command. It played a significant role in helping develop and further improve tactical methods. This F-94B-1-LO serial number 50-829, was operated by the 319th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, forward deployed at Suwon AB, in the Republic of South Korea, in March 1951, and then at Misawa AFB, in Japan, in 1952, where one was lost while pursuing an unknown aircraft by night.
