The former Yugoslav National Army was one of the major export customers for the Czechoslovak-made twin 30mm M-53/59 self-propelled antiaircraft gun, installed on a lightly armoured chassis. Numerous examples were inherited by the Serbian Army, but many were either withdrawn from service, or on the way into retirement by 1999. This example received a camouflage pattern in two shades of green, brown, and black atop of its original olive-green-grey livery, and was operated by the Djakovica-based 52nd Light Anti-Aircraft Air Defence Brigade of the LII Corps of the Serbian Army. Following withdrawal from Kosovo, this unit was relocated to Nis. (Artwork by David Bocquelet)
