At least two Hawker Siddeley HS.780 Andover C.Mk 1s were deployed in support of Operation Sheepskin. Drawn from RAF Abingdonbased No. 46 Squadron – which converted to this type in 1966 – they were used to carry troops and equipment to and from Anguilla. Both wore this standardised camouflage pattern in light stone (BS381C/361) and dark brown (BS381C/450) on upper surfaces and sides (with hard edges), and night (BS381C/642) on undersurfaces, and had their cockpit roofs painted in white. Unit insignia was applied high on the fin, and the full service title was worn down the upper portion of the centre fuselage. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
