The IAF acquired former US Navy A-4Es to rapidly expand the number of Skyhawks available given continuing tensions on the borders. These jets brought some of the equipment and capabilities introduced during American combat in Vietnam to include radar warning receivers (fairing under the nose). It possessed the spine hump, coming with the new A-4Ns, as seen on this 110 Squadron machine. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
