With the IRIN always closely following the latest patterns in the development of camouflage colours, by 1977 all four of its F.27s were repainted in mid-grey overall. The service crest and title were applied below the cockpit, and the serial repeated on the fin. Corresponding to the system introduced in January 1976, the latter consisted of five digits: serial numbers 5-2601 and 5-2603 were applied on two F.27-600 Friendships, while serial numbers 5-2602 and 5-2604 on two F.27-400M Troopships. Later on, following locally undertaken overhauls, all four had the same camouflage pattern as the P-3Fs. (Artwork by Luca Canossa)
