The Jaguar A c/n A99, coded 11-MQ, was officially assigned to the EC 2/11 ‘Vosges’ (insignia shown in the inset). During an attack on Wadi Doum AB on 16 February 1986, it was flown by Lieutenant Balandras while in this configuration, carrying 18 BAP-100 runway-cratering bombs on a 30-6-M2 adaptor under the centreline, two RP.35 drop tanks on inboard underwing pylons, a Barracuda ECM-pod on the outboard left pylon and (not shown here) Phimat chaff & flare dispenser on the outboard right pylon. Notable during the operation was the quite fresh coat of tactical camouflage colours, including Brun Café and Brun Noisette. (Tom Cooper)
