Still serving with No. 9 Squadron SyAAF as of 1956, Syrian Meteors wore the same livery as applied before delivery: a camouflage pattern consisting of light earth and dark olive green on top surfaces and sides, and sky blue on undersides. Serials were applied in white on the upper part of the fin, and usually repeated in black on drop tanks. Large roundels were worn in six positions.
