The only combat aircraft of the EAF to wear camouflage colours during the Suez Ware were five Meteor NF.Mk 13s still in service with Almaza-based No. 10 Squadron - which was actually a mere ‘flight’ with two operational aircraft. They were painted in medium sea grey and dark green on top surfaces and sides, and medium sea grey on bottom surfaces. While their national markings and serials were applied in usual positions, they received no identification strips, and it remains unknown if they wore any serials applied on lower wing surfaces.
