Map of major EAF air bases and road connections in Nile Delta and on the Sinai peninsula, and of all other airfields and seaplane anchorages that were in use as of 1950-1956. Few years before the 1956 War, the EAF started upgrading three dispersal airfields in Sinai – including Bir Lahfan, Jebel Libni and Bir Gifgafa - and had started laying concrete runways.
