This was the Schweizer TH-30 helicopter (nicknamed the ‘Hálcon’, or ‘Falcon’ by the FAS) construction number S1223, acquired by the FAS in 1986. It served with the Escuela de Aviación Militar, Centro de Educación e Instrucción Militar Aeronautico, at the Ilopango Air Base, for elementary and basic training of future helicopter-pilots.
