Syrian Army 1591 tracked radar
The Soviet manufactured 1591 (NATO code name Straight Flush) is a medium level radar system associated with the 2K12 Kub (SA-6 Gainful) system. This unit can track targets at low and medium altitude, it has an operating range of 60 to 90kms and altitude range of 10kms. The 1591 operates on the G and H bands which IAF Phantoms would have homed in on with their AGM-45 Shrikes and AGM-78 Standard ARM missiles during Operation Mole Cricket 19. This vehicle is seen in 2016 in an overrun Syrian air base.
