The Su-24MK2 serial number 3508 was one of about 16 aircraft still in service with the as-Seen-based No. 696 and Tiyas-based No. 19 Squadrons, as of 2015. Like all Su-24MKs exported in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it was painted in a version of the ‘standard’ camouflage pattern consisting of dark earth (Russian colour 670 Light Brown, similar to BS381C/350) and dark brown-green (Russian colour 667 Brown, similar to BS381C/641) on top surfaces, and medium blue or German ‘hellblau’ (similar to FS35526) on sides and undersurfaces. It is shown in typical weapons configuration for this type in SyAAF service, including a total of eight FAB-250M-62 bombs. (Artwork by Tom Cooper)
