StuG IV, unidentified unit, Heeresgruppe Mitte, Minsk area, July 1944. This Stug IV was abandoned in the Minsk area in early July 1944. It may have been stationed with one of the infantry division’s Panzerjäger companies, or with one of the six StuG brigades in the area at the time. This vehicle is painted in the usual RAL 7028 dark yellow, with patches of RAL 6003 olive green and RAL 8017 red brown. The gun barrel is dark-gray heat-resistant primer.
